NodeWaves Announces NWS Migration to a New Secure Contract
NodeWaves / NWS Migration Update: Security-Driven Recovery and New Contract Deployment
Dear NodeWaves Community,
Following the recent security incident involving the legacy NWS staking/pool system, the NodeWaves team has been working carefully on a security-driven recovery and migration plan.
Our priority from the beginning has been clear: to protect legitimate holders as responsibly as possible, strengthen the technical foundation of the ecosystem, and support the safe continuation of NodeWaves.
As part of this recovery process, NodeWaves has deployed a new NWS contract on Polygon.

New NWS Contract:

Network: Polygon
Migration Ratio: 1 old NWS = 1 new NWS
The new NWS contract has been prepared as part of the project's recovery framework to support a safer and more controlled migration process.
Why This Migration Is Necessary
The recent incident affected the legacy NWS staking/pool system and created serious technical and operational challenges for the ecosystem.
To move forward responsibly, the team determined that continuing with the legacy contract structure would not be the safest path for the community or the long-term project.
The new NWS contract allows NodeWaves to continue the recovery process with a cleaner structure, improved security planning, and a clearer migration framework for legitimate holders.
This migration is being carried out to:
- strengthen the security foundation of the ecosystem;
- support legitimate holder protection;
- reduce risks connected to the legacy system;
- prepare the ecosystem for a safer continuation;
- support an orderly recovery process with relevant platform partners.
For Users Holding NWS on Centralized Exchange Platforms
For users holding NWS on supported centralized exchange platforms, the old-to-new NWS swap will be handled according to the relevant exchange's internal process and platform records.
Exchange users should follow official exchange announcements and instructions regarding:
- swap processing;
- deposit and withdrawal status;
- trading arrangements;
- any exchange-side timeline or operational requirements.
NodeWaves will continue coordinating with relevant platform partners to support a safe and orderly migration process.
For Holders Outside Centralized Exchanges
For holders outside centralized exchanges, NodeWaves will communicate separately through official NodeWaves channels once the project-side recovery process is ready.
The project-side external holder process is being reviewed carefully to ensure that verified pre-incident holders can be handled in a responsible and organized way.
Further instructions for external/on-chain holders will be shared only through official NodeWaves channels.
Until then, external holders do not need to take any immediate action.
Important Security Notice
Please stay alert during this migration period.
Scammers may attempt to create fake claim pages, fake support accounts, fake migration links, or private messages pretending to represent NodeWaves.
Please remember:
- NodeWaves will never ask for your seed phrase or private key.
- Do not connect your wallet to unofficial links.
- Do not trust private messages claiming to offer migration support.
- Do not follow fake claim pages or unofficial forms.
- Only follow official NodeWaves and exchange announcements.
- Project-side external holder instructions will be shared separately when ready.
If any migration or claim process is launched for external/on-chain holders in the future, it will be announced clearly through official NodeWaves channels.
Our Commitment to the Community
We understand that this has been a difficult and uncertain period for the NodeWaves community.
The team is not walking away.
NodeWaves is continuing the recovery process with a focus on security, transparency, holder protection, and long-term ecosystem continuity.
This migration is an important step toward rebuilding trust and preparing the project for a safer future.
We appreciate the patience, cooperation, and continued support of the community as we move through this process carefully and responsibly.
Further updates will be shared through official NodeWaves channels.
Thank you for standing with Nodewaves.
